The Rock of NWA Seventh Anniversary Celebration
It hardly seems possible that seven years have passed since the first service that marked the founding of the Ecclesia known as The Rock of Northwest Arkansas. This time of year always causes us to reflect on the memories of those years and the evolution of the Ecclesia as it has grown and matured. While I’m sure that there are some things that I would have done differently if I had the opportunity to pass that way again, I can only believe that, at the time, I made those decisions I believed best at that time. Autumn and I, with clean hands and pure hearts, have purposed to pour our lives into the lives of others to bring the Kingdom to all who would receive it.
My greatest sentiment at this time is toward Apostle Ball and The Rock of Panama City. When I met this man I did not foresee the impact that he would have on my life. With no assurance of a return on his investment, he did not waiver in his commitment to provide the apostolic leadership that would be necessary to break us free from religion and equip us for Yahweh’s ultimate intention and purpose for our life. I would not know what faithfulness looks like today if it were not for the two greatest men in my life: Allen F. Murner and Apostle F. Nolan Ball. But along with Apostle Ball’s investment, came a people that he had raised up that made a rich deposit in us so that we could one day come to NW Arkansas - we are truly grateful. Of course, I can not forget the huge impact that our Kingdom friends, Henry and Caroline Jordan have made. It was their obedience to come to this region with Wal-Mart that paved the way for our coming. They were the messengers sent before us to prepare the way and we are forever thankful for their life of obedience and their friendship.
The area for this article cannot begin to contain the content necessary to express the gratitude that we share. However, we bless each one of you who presently make up The Rock family. You are truly an amazing people. You are a Deuteronomy 28:1-14 people and the commanded blessing of Yahweh is searching you out to overtake you. You are steadfast and true. We have become one in the Spirit and the glory of Yahweh is being revealed.
But even as I write this, my thoughts of reflection pertaining to the elements of the past are being pushed aside by the overwhelming reality of our present and prophetic future of our destiny. This anniversary celebration marks the ending of our seventh year as an Ecclesia. Seven has become a significant revelation in itself to this Ecclesia. The number seven embodies the liability of a vow or an oath that one commits to. It speaks of a promise fulfilled even before the challenges arise to defeat the pledge. So that when difficulties come, there is no decision to make, the Word of Yahweh will come to pass and the one who has “sevened” themselves to that Word will not falter or fail – no matter how difficult the path. I am proud of the people that make us this Ecclesia. Difficulties have come, but you have not waivered at the promise. You are faithful and true.
Please join Autumn, Joy, and me this weekend for a celebration of our seventh anniversary of the founding of this Ecclesia. Each year, this weekend stands as a memorial of the past and commitment to the future. We would surely enjoy celebrating this occasion with you.
