Prophet Darnéy is a creative prophet. He has said a person doesn’t have to be artistic to be prophetic, but most of the artistic people he has met are prophetic. That makes sense because the anointing of the prophetic gift involves hearing the visions and dreams of Yahweh and artistic gifts usually involve the ability to see things most people don’t see.

Prophet Darnéy has been growing in his relationship with Yahweh since he was 5 years old when he met Yahshua. When he was a freshman in college he began to walk in the Holy Spirit, and he has been walking with Yahweh in prophetic and artistic anointings ever since. He and Norma Jean, and four of their children became part of the Rock of NW Arkansas family on Easter morning 2003. In the fall of 2006 Darnéy was ordained by Apostle Todd as the House Prophet of the Rock.

Prophet Darnéy has been growing as a visual artist, mostly as a painter, since his last year of high school, and has been teaching art in a community college since the fall of 1990. He started writing music and lyrics for songs about 16 years ago. He also sings, plays the guitar, and the flute. He married his wife Norma Jean in 1975, and they have 7 children; Morning Song, Melody, Arwen, Amanda, Angela, Forrest, and Solomon. Through Melody and her husband Garrett, they have 2 grandchildren, Trenton and Avary. Arwen is married to Adam.

Prophet Darnéy and Norma Jean have experienced a long walk with Yahweh which has involved many assignments to accomplish many things that were larger than they were and required the faith of Yahweh to complete. Their current assignment is building a new house on top of the small mountain that overlooks the valley where their current house is. They are, as a family, literally building this house themselves. Yahweh told Prophet Darnéy they came into this valley with the faith of Joshua and it became too easy for them. They needed to go to the top of the mountain with the faith of Caleb because there would be giants to conquer. And so there have been and as always Yahweh has proved faithful. In like manner Prophet Darnéy and Norma Jean will continue to walk out the assignments Yahweh gives them and draw ever closer to Yahweh. Their hope is to impart this walk with the faith of Yahweh to their children and anyone else who will receive it.
